Our Approach

Our approach is simple, we want you to feel better, move better and live better! We believe in Pilates, not as a popular exercise method, but as a means to enjoy life!  How much more would you appreciate life if you were able to move with ease and grace, to play with your children, to move from pain into function and to excel in your sport? Pilates allows the body to become stronger in both mind and body, to become more flexible and balanced and to overcome muscular and postural challenges.

At The Body Works Pilates Studio we emphasize intelligent movement. We break down the components of each exercise and muscle action in a non-intimidating manner. We’re unique in our approach in that we strive to make the complex world of anatomy and Pilates exercises understandable to every client from the athlete to the average person. We understand that not only is your body unique but your body will move and feel differently every day. We pay specific attention to each client’s lifestyle so that everyone can build body awareness and learn the exercises in a safe and comfortable way.
